How to make videos with Claude
Claude can plan a video in detail: the story, the scenes, the exact narration. With the Ozor connector it can also build it. Add Ozor to Claude once, and in any chat you can ask for an explainer, a metric recap or a launch teaser; Claude writes each scene as animated code, Ozor narrates and saves it, and you get a link to a finished video in your brand. Here is the one-minute setup, the prompts that work best, and how editing and export work.
Quick Answer
To make videos with Claude, add Ozor as a custom connector: in Claude's connector settings, click Add custom connector, name it Ozor, paste https://api.ozor.ai/mcp and approve the connection in Ozor. Then ask Claude for a video in any chat. Claude writes and narrates each scene, Ozor checks and stores them, and Claude returns a link to watch and edit the video in Ozor. It works on every Claude plan.

Connect Ozor to Claude in four steps
There is nothing to install and no API key to paste. The connection uses OAuth: Claude asks, you approve on an Ozor page, done.
Copy Ozor's connector link
Sign in to Ozor and open Developer → Connect AI assistants, then click Connect with Claude. Ozor copies its connector link and opens Claude's connector settings in a new tab. If you prefer to do it by hand, the link is https://api.ozor.ai/mcp.
Add a custom connector in Claude
In Claude's connector settings, click Add custom connector, name it Ozor, paste the link and click Connect. Custom connectors work on every Claude plan; on the free plan you can have one.
Approve the connection in Ozor
An Ozor page opens showing that Claude wants to connect to your account and what it will be able to do: create and edit videos, use your brand kit and images, add narration, and render MP4s and share links. Click Approve and you are sent back to Claude. You can revoke the connection at any time under Developer → Connected AI apps.
Ask for a video
Start a new chat, make sure the Ozor connector is turned on in the chat's tools menu, and describe the video you want. Claude reads Ozor's scene guide, checks your brand kit, starts the video, and reports each scene as it adds it. When it is done, it gives you a link to watch the video in Ozor.
Shortcut: on Ozor's create page, type your idea and click Create with Claude. If you are not connected yet, Ozor walks you through these steps; if you are, Claude opens in a new tab with your request already written, including the instructions to build scene by scene.
What happens when you ask for a video
Claude follows the same loop every time, and narrates its progress as it goes, so a typical conversation reads like this:
You: Make a 40-second video explaining our new approval workflow for finance managers.
Claude: I'll read Ozor's scene guide and your brand kit first.
Plan: 5 scenes — hook, the old way, the new flow, the time saved, call to action.
Started "Approvals in one click" in Ozor: <editor link>
✓ Scene 1/5 — Hook (2.4 s, narrated)
✓ Scene 2/5 — The old way (6.1 s, narrated)
✓ Scene 3/5 — The new flow (11.8 s, narrated)
✓ Scene 4/5 — Time saved (7.2 s, narrated)
✓ Scene 5/5 — Get started (4.0 s, narrated)
Done — 31.5 seconds. Watch and tweak it here: <editor link>Behind each check mark, Claude wrote a React scene and its narration, and Ozor checked that the code compiles, follows the renderer's rules and actually renders, then voiced the narration and timed the scene to the audio. If a scene fails a check, nothing is saved or charged; Claude gets the exact error, fixes that scene, and tries again. You usually never see it happen.
When it matters, Claude can also call preview_scene, which renders a few real frames and returns them as images. That lets it look at what it made before moving on, the same way you would scrub through a timeline.

Good prompts name the audience, the length, the format and whether you want narration. Mentioning the Ozor connector by name helps Claude reach for it straight away.
A product explainer
“Use the Ozor connector to make a 45-second explainer for our scheduling app, for small clinic owners. Problem, how it works in three steps, one proof point, call to action. Narrate every scene. Use my brand kit.”
From a file you attach
“Here's our Q3 board update (attached). Make a 60-second video of the four numbers that matter most, one scene per number with a chart, and a calm narration explaining each. 16:9.”
A social cut
“Make a 20-second 9:16 teaser for our new AI search feature. Fast kinetic type, a product window showing a search, and our logo at the end. No narration.”
Iterating
“Scene 3 feels slow. Make the bars grow faster and put the 42% in our accent color. Leave the narration as it is.”
Claude's strength here is context. If the conversation already holds a document, a spreadsheet, a meeting transcript or a long thread of decisions, the video can use all of it. More ideas, by use case, in 15 videos your AI agent can make.
Editing and exporting
Edit in the chat. Ask for a change and Claude reads that scene back, rewrites it and saves it with update_scene. Other scenes stay exactly as they were. Code changes are free; a new narration counts toward the video's ten included narrations.
Or edit in Ozor. The editor link opens the same video in Ozor, where you can play it, add music, reorder scenes, and keep refining with Ozor's own agent. Switch back and forth as you like.
Export when you ask.Claude will not export on its own. Say "export it in 1080p" or "give me a share link" and it renders the MP4, waits for it, and returns the watch page, MP4 and embed link. Exports are free at 720p, 1080p or 4K (4K on paid plans).
Tips for better results
- →Set up your brand kit first. Colors, fonts and logo flow into every scene automatically, so the first draft already looks like yours.
- →Upload your real images to Ozor. Product screenshots and photos make better heroes than icons. Claude can find them with list_my_images, or import a public image URL for you.
- →Ask for a plan before the build. "Show me the scene plan first" gets you a quick outline to approve, which is cheaper to change than finished scenes.
- →Keep narration short. One to three sentences per scene reads best and keeps scenes moving. Each narration is capped at 500 characters.
- →Pick a voice. Ozor has eight narration voices (aria, nova, felix, marcus, thor, luna, owen, sky) and narrates in other languages too: ask for Spanish narration and Claude sets it.
Frequently asked questions
Can Claude make videos?
Not on its own, but with the Ozor connector it can. Claude writes each scene of the video as a small React animation, and Ozor checks the code, narrates it with an AI voice, stores it in your Ozor account and renders the MP4. You ask in plain language; Claude handles the tools.
Which Claude plans support the Ozor connector?
Custom connectors work on every Claude plan, including the free plan, which allows one custom connector. Once added on claude.ai, the connector is available in Claude on the web and in the Claude desktop app. On Team and Enterprise plans, an admin may need to allow custom connectors first.
Do I need an Ozor account?
Yes. The videos live in your Ozor account, and Ozor's narration and storage use Ozor credits. The free plan includes 6 credits, enough for six connector-built videos of up to ten narrated scenes each. The approval page lets you sign up if you do not have an account yet.
How much does a video made with Claude cost?
One Ozor credit per video, covering up to ten narrations; every ten more cost another credit. Code edits, previews and MP4 exports are free. The writing happens on your Claude plan, so it counts toward your Claude usage rather than Ozor's credits.
Can I edit the video after Claude makes it?
Yes, in either place. Keep chatting with Claude ("make scene 2 shorter", "change the headline") and it rewrites only that scene. Or open the editor link and keep working in Ozor, where you can preview, add music, chat with Ozor's own agent and export. Both edit the same video.
Will Claude export the video automatically?
No. Ozor tells connected assistants to stop at the editor link and only export when you ask for an MP4 or a share link. When you do, Claude calls the export, waits for the render, and gives you the watch page, MP4 and embed links exactly as Ozor returns them. Exports are free.
